Profile reports introduction
Profile reports are visually rich summaries of key indicator data taken from the National Data Store. They present data as data points (values), tables and a variety of charts and graphs.
Two types of profile report are provided, thematic and overview. The thematic report presents data related to one of the eight themes in the National Data Store, e.g. Population or Environment. The overview profile includes key data from each of the themes in one report.
The geography levels available for each type of profile is indicated in the table below.

In addition, the Quick Ward Profile report provides an overview of a ward. The ward can be identified on the map or by postcode lookup. This is a concise report including key indicators found in the individual theme profile reports and is conveniently available from the home page of the website.
